The 20X MES-SDS Running Buffer is designed for SDS-PAGE applications, particularly for separating small to medium-sized proteins using Bis-Tris gels under denaturing conditions. When diluted from its concentrated form, it maintains a stable pH around 7.3. This buffer allows for faster, more efficient separation and produces sharp, well-resolved protein bands compared to other SDS-PAGE running buffers.
